She wrote the memoir in the msd-1970s, more than 40 years after the actual trauma took place.
her daughter, the Ukrainian poet, Natalka Bilotserkivets, has written the Foreword; Vitalii Ogienko, a researcher at the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, has written the Afterword.
